The Bank of Queensland Half Time Wrap

By Brent Higgins

The Bank of Queensland Maroochydore Half-Time Wrap held on Friday July 19 was a charity lunch mixing sport and business. The crowd included some 400 guests and over 14 celebrities and presenters.

The event brought together some of Australian sports greatest names, leading economic commentator Michael Pascoe and hundreds of leading Sunshine Coast business men and women.

This charity event fundraiser was the brainchild of the local Bank of Queensland Maroochydore operators and events company Whitehouse Celebrations in aid of local charity Sunnykids.

Aussie rules greats Robert “Dipper” DiPierdomenico and Richard Champion co-hosted along with Hot 91’s Sami Muirhead at Palmer Coolum Resort Pavillion. The fast paced event even offered an opportunity to pick the minds of the greats of several football codes in a Q & A session hosted by Tiffany Cherry

Local Ray White Maroochydore director and auctioneer Dan Sowden held the Live Auction offering several priceless ‘what money can’t buy style’ experiences. A day with the Bondi Rescue team, a local ride and dine with Chris Vermeulen and a golf day with ‘Dipper’ were just a few of the exciting options on offer.

The day was a resounding success with thousands raised for SunnyKids. For further information head to:http://sunnykids.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/BOQ-Maroochydore-Half-Time-Wrap-Flyer-20132.pdf
