Australia Day is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate than the ‘MooloolaBaBQ’ Festival – a day spent out with friends and family embracing one of Australia’s favorite activities… the BBQ.
The Wharf Precinct in Mooloolaba will become home to food trucks and stalls offering various styles of food (and tasty samples), craft beer, celebrity guests and demonstrations, live entertainment and plenty of activities for the kids such as a jumping castle, face painting and fireworks to finish off the evening!
The ‘MooloolaBaBQ’ festival will also be hosting a National Championship Series Barbecue Competition in conjunction with the Australasian Barbecue Alliance where Australia’s best teams will be competing for National Championship Points plus $6,000 Cash & Prizes.
This charity community event will be held on Saturday the 28th January at the Mooloolaba Wharf Precinct from 10am-8pm – This is an all ages family event all proceeds from the event will go towards the Queensland Cancer Council to raise money for Cancer research.
